Ridge-Guard
www.wildlifecontrolsupplies.comRidge-Guard, available from Wildlife Control Supplies, is a system for guarding against animal entry at the roof ridge. With the advent of ridge-vents to protect shingles from overheating in summer and excess moisture build-up in winter also came extra issues associated with a large vent opening across the entire ridge of the home. Standard plastic ridge-venting, as well as most other types of roof ridge vents, can be made secure from pests by the application of Ridge-Guard. According to the manufacturer, Ridge-Guard seals up these entry points with the following benefits:
- Less labor and materials than replacing existing ridge
- Easy to install
- Effective and barely visible from the ground
- The kit features 20 8-foot sections with fasteners (160 linear feet of coverage)
Agrisel USA
www.agrisel.comAgrisel USA has introduced Gly-Pho-Sel Pro Dry 75 SG, a dehydrated extruded granular glyphosate-based herbicide designed to control more than 100 different weed species. Agrisel’s new herbicide is labeled for turf/ornamental and non-crop use and can be used by PMPs who perform such treatments.
“Gly-Pho-Sel Pro Dry 75 is a broad-spectrum, post-emergent vegetation herbicide with 75.7 percet active ingredient along with ammonium sulfate and dry surfactants,” says Art Assad, president of Agrisel.
Gly-Pho-Sel Pro Dry post-emergent herbicide is a dissolvable, non-clay based granular. “Gly-Pho-Sel Pro Dry herbicide penetrates the leaves while burning down the top foliage and then moves to the roots of the weeds to provide control with virtually no regrowth,” Assad said. “Gly-Pho-Sel Pro Dry herbicide offers virtually no regrowth, which minimizes callbacks and return trips.” The company adds that the product also has a favorable environmental profile. It binds tightly to soil particles so there is no persistence or carryover in the soil, and has low volatility. One application controls most labeled weeds, AgriSel USA adds.
Gly-Pho-Sel Pro Dry 75 SG is now available in four 5-pound tip “N” pour containers for accurate measuring.
