Bell Laboratories
www.belllabs.comBell Laboratories says the most-trusted rodenticide brand is now available to PMPs in a new form: Contrac Soft Bait.
Contrac Soft Bait is Bell Laboratories’ most extensively researched and tested rodenticide ever, the firm says. Throughout the product development process, comprehensive field testing was conducted in both urban and rural, as well as commercial and residential, settings. “Contrac is the number one bait in the professional pest control industry and our bromadiolone formulas are known for outstanding rodent acceptance and control,” said Senior Product Manager Kate Van Boxel. “We are pleased to now offer a soft bait that we know will perform to the Contrac standard in all settings.”
Bell says that along with outstanding rodent acceptance and control, Contrac Soft Bait comes with an extensive list of key attributes. The soft bait has a unique oil-based formulation with a precise balance between saturated and unsaturated fats. In addition, the manufacturing process ensures maximum contact of the paper sachet to the soft bait — further maximizing bait acceptance. The soft bait also is designed to withstand almost any climate. In cold climates, the bait won’t freeze and when temperatures and humidity rise, Contrac Soft Bait is both mold- and heat-resistant.
Contrac Soft Bait is available in a new 16-pound pail size. This new soft bait pail is clearly differentiated from all other Bell Laboratories pails with an orange lid for ease of identification by distributors and PMPs. Contrac Soft Bait is available in 10-gram sachets with a minimum mouse placement of 10 grams and a minimum rat placement of 90 grams. State registration is still pending in California.

DynaTrap
https://dynatrap.comDynaTrap provided its high-tech insect traps to protect fans at the Western Golf Association’s three annual golf tournaments, including the 2017 BMW Championship.
DynaTrap equipped Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, Ill., with its most powerful insect traps. The chemical- and pesticide-free traps helped eliminate mosquitoes, wasps, biting flies and other insect pests for the 2017 BMW Championship. The WGA also used the DynaTraps at the Western Junior and Western Amateur.
The one-acre DynaTrap DT2000XLP device is free from chemicals and pesticides, easy to maintain, environmentally friendly and effective, the manufacturer reports. The trap attracts insects using a combination of UV light and TiO2 coating that generate trace amounts of CO2 to mimic human activity. As mosquitoes approach the trap, the strong-yet-silent fan vacuums them into the retaining cage where they dehydrate and die, providing users with a silent and simple solution to insect control, DynaTrap says.
