TROY, Mich. — Rose Pest Solutions acquired Traverse City, Mich.-based Collier’s Pest Control.
Rose has served clients in northern Michigan, including Traverse City, for decades, and the acquisition allows the company to expand its footprint in the region by absorbing Collier’s clients throughout Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Leelanau and Kalkaska counties.
“We were humbled when Gary Collier reached out to inquire about us taking on the day-to-day operations of his business,” said Russ Ives, Rose CEO. “Collier’s is one of Michigan’s most trusted and well-respected pest control companies, and Rose will continue to honor the outstanding service and loyalty that Collier’s has built over the past 45 years with its clients.”
Collier is semi-retiring from his role as president of Collier’s and will assist with the transition. He founded the company in 1976.
“A family-owned company was always in the requirements of my search — one that represents my beliefs in my outlook of business,” Collier said. “Rose Pest Solutions is well respected in the marketplace, and by me, as a company of quality, integrity and care. They will now work to help our employees with benefits that I could not offer — and provide added services in a platform of growth.”
Rose plans to move to a larger facility in the Traverse City region to accommodate these expanded services. Until then, the combined companies will operate out of the current Collier’s office in Traverse City. Collier’s employees will be trained and onboarded with Rose.
