NOVAGUARD TECHNOLOGIES, INC.

ShellGuard, a borate treatment from NovaGuard Technologies Inc., uses polyethylene and propylene glycols to maximize active ingredient penetration, the company says. The borate-based product is for the protection and preventive treatment of wood against termites, carpenter ants, wood-destroying beetles and wood-decay fungi, according to NovaGuard Technologies. The product can be used for remedial control of such pests in infested wood or wood-foam composites, the company says. The solution is applied to bare wood and is available in 1-quart, 1-gallon, 2½-gallon and 5-gallon sizes.

HILTI

Hilti recently introduced a new packaging system for the CF 116 Filler Foam. The Stop-n-Seal CF 116 System provides a convenient package solution for improved handling, the company says. The system, packaged in a durable, water-resistant poly-vinyl tote box, contains three cans of CF 116 Filler Foam, three reusable CF-GA straw nozzles and one CF-GR Grip Dispenser. The CF 116 System blocks rodent and insect pathways and seals HVAC systems. It also stops drafts, decreases energy loss and seals around wiring, electrical fixtures, plumbing pipes and drains.

NOBLE PINE PRODUCTS

Sterifab from Noble Pine Products is a disinfectant that also kills dust mites, ticks, bed bugs, roaches and other insects. Unlike disinfectants that need to be diluted with water, Sterifab requires no dilution and dries in 15 to 20 minutes. It can be sprayed on inanimate surfaces, such as bedding, carpets, upholstered chairs, walls, pet areas and pillows, among others. Sterifab has become the accepted protocol for many commercial companies and government installations, the company says.

JT EATON

JT Eaton introduces Eaton’s Ant Bait Station, a bait station specifically designed to help reduce the hardest-to-control ant populations, the company says. The station reduces the potential for harm to children while encouraging foraging ants to ingest the bait and carry it back to the colony, JT Eaton says.

COXREELS

Coxreels’ 125 Series, now the 1125 Series, has been improved for greater operator efficiency. Special features have been added and existing features modified to enhance the ease of use on this model. The new features include a low-profile outlet riser and open hose slot for even coiling of the hose onto the reel, a more comfortable round tapered handle and a longer, more accessible drum-locking pin.

J.F. Oakes Sales and Marketing announces the addition of Odor Genie to its product line. Odor Genie is a naturally occurring mineral that eliminates organic odors. It is not an odor-masking type product. Odor Genie eliminates organic odors such as dead rodent and musty mildew. Odor Genie works by a process called cation exchange. Most organic odors have positive charged ions; Odor Genie has a super-negative charge. This natural mineral bonds with the organic odors in the area and holds them tightly to its molecular structure.

PROTIMETER

The latest generation of Protimeter Moisture Meters features pin-type, non-invasive and Thermo-Hygrometer components. The MMS Moisture Measurement System incorporates all of these methods in one instrument. PCOs can switch between moisture meter, hygrometer and condensator modes. The hydrometer mode measures the relative humidity and ambient temperatures of environments while the condensator mode is used to confirm the presence of condensation.

ECOLAB

Ecolab recently introduced the new GroundForce Ant Program, a program designed to intercept ants and other crawling insects along a building’s exterior. The program features the GroundForce bait station, which makes multiple baits easily accessible to ants and insects but secure from children and animals. Its shell also protects the bait from weather and rapid aging.

SAFETY STORAGE, INC.

Safety Storage, Inc. has introduced a line of standard shelving, separation walls and other interior furnishings for use in hazardous materials storage buildings and lockers. Safety Storage shelving provides convenient storage, handling and use of bottles, buckets, bags and boxes of dry and liquid chemicals and hazardous materials, the company says. Shelving is available in flat or spill-containment configurations. Separation walls are available for applications where incompatible materials are stored in the same building or when it is desired to separate different types of storage and work areas.
