Labor is your company’s biggest expense. But are you paying employees too much or too little compared to your industry peers? Is the way you pay — your compensation plan — in line with industry standards, or out of whack? How do your benefits, bonuses and employee tenure rates measure up?
The 2015 PCT-NPMA Compensation and Benefits Survey — the most comprehensive industry-wide survey of its kind — explores these issues and more. You’ll learn how others pay and reward their employees, and how your comp package compares to industry averages.

MORE INSIGHTS: Compensation & Benefits Survey
In September 2015, the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) and PCT surveyed the industry to gather current data about compensation and benefits in the pest control industry. A portion of that data is published in this special report. NPMA members can access the complete data set at www.npmapestworld.org.
About this Report
Completed in October 2015, the PCT-NPMA Compensation and Benefits Survey was sponsored by BASF Professional & Specialty Solutions and compiled by Readex Research, a privately held research firm based in Stillwater, Minn., that conducts mail- and web-based surveys for publishers, advertisers, association executives and corporate researchers.
A survey sample of 8,978 owners/operators of pest control businesses was selected randomly from the databases of PCT and the National Pest Management Association. Data was collected from 554 respondents — a 6.0 percent response rate — from September 22 to October 13, 2015. The margin of error for percentages based on 554 usable responses is +/-4.0 percentage points at the 95 percent confidence level.
