Sprague Pest Solutions Enters Arizona Market

TACOMA, Wash. - Sprague Pest Solutions has entered the rapidly growing Arizona market with the acquisition of Phoenix-based MasterCare Pest Management. 

 

The acquisition complements Sprague’s expansion into neighboring California and Nevada giving the Tacoma, Washington-based company the ability to service agriculture, food, distribution and service clients across the Southwestern U.S. 

 

Owned by Tim Olson and family since 2002, MasterCare is known for providing eco-friendly pest management services and delivering exceptional levels of client care to the Phoenix metro areas diverse commercial client lineup. Olson and his brother, Jeff, and their sons, Jared and Chris, have joined the Sprague team at the new Phoenix service center.

ADDITION OF DAN SCOTT. To help support Sprague’s growing western U.S. presence, Dan Scott, B.C.E. has joined Sprague as regional entomologist for Arizona, California and Nevada. A graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles where he earned a bachelor of arts in biology, Scott is a board-certified entomologist (B.C.E.) and has 30 years of pest management industry experience working for and owning his home pest control company.

 

Sprague says the addition of Scott reinforces the company's commitment to education and training that has seen 15 percent of all Sprague employees earn advanced entomology degrees or designations, will provide expanded and more flexible technical resources for clients and Sprague’s field staff.
