GREENSBORO, N.C. — Terminix Triad announced the acquisition of Budget Termite and Pest Control, King, N.C.
Budget was founded in 2003 by “Bugman Mike” Mike Owens and since then has built a customer base of around 2,600 customers across the Triad area.
“They [Terminix Triad] have a strong family culture there, and I know my employees will be well taken care of while having more opportunities to grow,” said Owens. “We pride ourselves on customer service, and we have the best customers in North Carolina. With that said, Terminix has an amazing team, and I’m confident our customers will be happy with the care Terminix offers.”
Terminix Triad Business Support Manager Thomas Cheek added, “Budget Termite and Pest Control is an established company with strong values. We have enjoyed working with Mike and his team throughout the transition, and we are looking forward to strengthening our presence in the Triad.”
Terminix Triad's President Burns Blackwell said he looks forward to expanding. “We are excited to welcome the customers and team members of Budget Termite and Pest Control to the Terminix Triad family,” he said. “We will continue to service Budget customers out of our 14 locations across the Triad."
