A Navy vet, Swain started his career as a technician running commercial and residential routes. He also worked as a research assistant at Texas A&M University, focused on both science-based and practical applications of pest control products. He later became owner/operator of his own pest control company, giving him valuable insight into the unique business challenges PMPs face. Swain has his master’s degree in entomology and leads a team of entomologists responsible for providing field and remote problem-solving, training and solution-based support to PMPs. His team plays a significant role in the creation of new products, such as OneGuard, the preferred solution for professional mosquito control. They have also developed extensive educational materials, including a sales toolkit designed to help PMPs expand into residential mosquito control.
