Top 10 Things to Know

The ubiquitous multi-catch device has become an indispensable tool for IPM in commercial accounts but has a place in residential accounts as well.

1. The 612-MC and MCMS are easy to install and sanitary:

All versions of our multi-catch traps are designed to be used in conjunction with Catchmaster glueboards that facilitate cleanouts and contain potentially harmful pathogens.

2. Available in many configurations:

Catchmaster offers four different varieties of multi-catch devices to fit your needs. The standard 612-MC/clear lid, 612-MCMS/solid lid, 613-MCMS/solid lid and the versatile 611 Dual Action Twin Catch.

3. Small openings provide appealing “cover” for cryptic rodents:

Rodents love to live in tight, dark, quiet locations, protected by the shadows and cover. Multi-catch devices appeal to rodents by providing the curious scavengers an inviting harborage.

4. Keep trapped rodents out of sight from your customers:

Many customers do not want to see any visible signs of dead rodents. By utilizing the solid lid multi-catch devices, you conceal captured pests until the device is serviced.

5. Customize colors to match the surroundings:

While black, white or simple galvanized finishes are the most common, all these devices can be powder coated in specific colors to match your needs.

6. Private Label to promote your brand:

Multi-catch devices are easily manufactured with your logo either on the device itself or on the 72TC glueboards specifically used with most traps. This lets you promote your brand and your business.

7. At 3.5” X 10” the 613-MCMS can be utilized in many of the tight spaces that rodents prefer:

We already mentioned that rodents are cryptic creatures that thrive in the shadows. The 613 allows you to install devices where the larger 612s will not fit.

8. Can be effective when coupled with attractants for insects:

The glueboards installed in the MC traps to facilitate cleanouts also do a great job capturing insects. Use the Catchmaster #701 food grade roach attractant or even the Catchmaster clothes moth pheromone to enhance the insect catching ability of the traps.

9. They work extremely well in most residential accounts:

Most

PCOs only use MC devices in commercial accounts but they have a place in residential accounts as well. These products are perfectly suited to rodent-favored locations like under sinks and cabinets, in basements on either side of exterior facing doors or on exposed sill plates or along the walls of attached garages where rodents love to enter. They are a great add-on to residential services, especially as the weather cools down.

10. #611 Dual Action Twin Catch for sensitive accounts:

The twin catch was designed with sensitive accounts in mind. When PCOs are faced with customers who do not want any rodents exposed to adhesive-based traps you now have an alternative. The unique design of the twin catch allows users to exclude rodents from the glue surface while still capturing rodents using snap traps. The glue area, which is inaccessible to rodents, is still accessible to spiders, cockroaches and other crawling insects.
