TUCSON, Ariz. - Truly Nolen Pest Control was excited to host the company’s second annual Community Car Show November 10. Progressing from last year’s inaugural event that featured over 50 of late founder Truly David Nolen’s antique cars from seven decades in one spot, this year’s event included a combination of the company's antiques along with vehicles from seven local car clubs.
Approximately 1,000 people attended the car show, which included trophies for the first time as selected by Truly Nolen team members, car club members, and general attendees in addition to Best in Show. In addition, there were food trucks available on-site.
“The number one question we received at our inaugural event 13 months ago was how can we enter our own classic car into a future show?” said Michelle Nolen Senner, longtime company employee and one of the late Mr. Nolen’s children. “Based on this, our antique garage picked our Top 30 favorites and the other 50 antiques on display were entries from our local Tucson community for a total of 80 cars representing our 80th anniversary this year.”
Like last year, the Truly Nolen antique cars were unlocked so people were able to sit in the antiques, take photos, and used the company’s Snapchat event filter while learning more about the many non-profit organizations in Tucson during the family-friendly event.
