Clark's Blair Smith on the Response to Increased Dengue Fever Cases in Southern California

In 2024, several states have reported a record-breaking number of dengue fever cases, PCT reported back in July. The mosquitoes that spread dengue, Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus, have become more populated in Southern California areas like Los Angeles and San Diego counties, according to a California Department of Public Health report.
