      In 2024, several states have reported a record-breaking number of dengue fever cases, PCT reported back in July. The mosquitoes that spread dengue, Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus, have become more populated in Southern California areas like Los Angeles and San Diego counties, according to a California Department of Public Health report.

      In the following video interview, Blair Smith, BCE, director of technical and quality assurance at Clark Pest Control, Lodi, Calif., shared how the company is responding to the recent outbreaks of dengue fever and climate patterns making an impact on mosquito pressures.
