All-American Pest Control, in partnership with the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), named the winner of their first STEAM Trailblazer Scholarship. The scholarship was open to young women planning to pursue a career in a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) field.
This year’s recipient of $1,000 is Ann Marie Robinson-Baker. She is pursuing a master’s degree in entomology at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, and received her bachelor's degree in agriculture education from the College of Agriculture Science and Education in Portland, Jamaica.
Robinson-Baker serves as secretary of the FAMU Entomology Club and proudly serves the community outside of school as a Sunday school teacher at New Hope International Ministries.
