The Potomac Company announced two pairs of acquisitions: Viking Termite & Pest Control, an Anticimex company, acquired Last Bite Mosquito Control and Total Home Pest Control; Turner Pest Control, an Anticimex company, acquired National Exterminators.
Last Bite Mosquito Control is family-owned-and-operated by twin brothers Jason and Jeremy Julio headquartered in Red Bank, N.J. The Julio brothers built the company in 2013 and grew its one-truck operation to have more than 40 service vehicles with thousands of loyal customers.
Last Bite Mosquito Control is known for providing mosquito-free and tick-free homes and businesses across eight counties in the state of New Jersey.
In 2017, Jeremy and Jason launched sister company Total Home Pest Control offering pest and termite control services to residential homes and commercial properties including hotels, restaurants, outdoor spaces, industrial and office buildings.
Margo Rappel joined Last Bite Mosquito Control and Total Home Pest Control as operations manager with 30 years of sales and marketing experience. Soon, she undertook the responsibility of managing the day-to-day operations of the office while overseeing the growth of the businesses.
With the addition of Last Bite Mosquito Control and Total Home Pest Control to its portfolio, Viking Pest Control will expand its geographic reach and service coverage. Viking Pest Control’s expansion through these acquisitions represents a step towards achieving its vision of becoming a leading pest control provider in the industry.
“As we pass the torch to new hands, our commitment to exceptional service will continue under new leadership," said Jason Julio. "We remain dedicated to protecting homes from pests and mosquitoes. We’ll forever cherish the memories, challenges, triumphs, and strong bonds we’ve formed with each one of our customers.”
Since 1977, National Exterminators offers pest, termite and animal control, attic insulation and related services with a deep-rooted commitment to excellence for more than four decades to residents in Naples, Fla.
The acquisition of National Exterminators aligns seamlessly with Anticimex's commitment to delivering cutting-edge pest management solutions that prioritize safety, effectiveness and environmental responsibility.
"We are excited to join forces because Turner's commitment to superior customer service and constant innovation will strengthen our team's ability to deliver the best service possible," said National Exterminators President and Owner Dan Pearce.
"National Exterminators has earned a reputation as the premier pest control company in southwest Florida by offering advanced protection against pests and providing unparalleled service for more than 40 years," said Turner Pest Control President Cheri Michaels. "We look forward to combining their team’s knowledge and expertise with our own to continue upholding the high standards they've set for decades to come.”
Paul Giannamore and Franco Villanueva-Meyer of The Potomac Company acted as exclusive financial advisors to National Exterminators, Last Bite Mosquito Control and Total Home Pest Control in these transactions.
