PHOENIX, Ariz. — In a unanimous vote, the Senate's Commerce and Economic Development Committee approved a bill that would exempt gardeners and landscape-maintenance workers from a state requirement that they be licensed to handle pesticides, the Arizona Republic reported (read the entire story).
PCT reported last month that many Arizona PCOs are upset that they have to be licensed for this type of work and this proposed bill would exempt some non-PCOs from licenses.
