The internal scholarship initiative was accessible to both Arrow team members and their dependents, specifically those who were either high school seniors on the cusp of graduation or enrolled in a college program. Applicants were asked to write a short essay on what has surprised them the most about the pest control industry.
The following eight students are the winners of the internal scholarship program and will each receive a $5,000 scholarship:
- Ava Scott, Woodstock, Ga.;
- Madison Conner, Sharpsburg, Ga.;
- Mackenzie Pugh, Ellaville, Ga.;
- Samantha Bennett, McPherson, Kan.;
- Patrick Flood, Roswell, Ga.;
- Wyatt Kallan, Roswell, Ga.;
- Krysten Simpkins, McDonough, Ga.;
- Caroline Hodges, Ball Ground, Ga.
Established in 2017, the E. Raymond Crim, III Scholarship stands as a tribute to Mr. Crim's remarkable 44-year career in the pest control industry, including a dedicated 25-year commitment to Arrow Exterminators, alongside his honorable military service.
This scholarship was open to both internal Arrow applicants and external candidates who completed at least one year of college or university studies. Arrow Exterminators enthusiastically backs this scholarship program on an annual basis, with a preference for applicants possessing military backgrounds or familial ties to the pest control field.
