Augustine Exterminators Achieves GreenPro Certification

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Augustine Exterminators received GreenPro certification from the National Pest Management Association. As a GreenPro certified company, Augustine Exterminators meets the highest standards of environmentally-conscious pest management, providing customers with comprehensive alternatives to traditional treatments.

Green services are vital for pest management services provided to Augustine customers engaged in the processing of organically produced food stuffs.  However, according to Forrest E. St. Aubin, director of training and regulatory affairs at Augustine, “going green” isn’t meant just for foods produced organically.  It enhances the quality of life in homes, schools, restaurants and health care facilities, not to mention its necessity in high-tech production and use facilities.

Augustine Exterminators was founded in 1966 by Jim and Margaret Augustine.  Augustine numbers among its staff a board-certified entomologist and associate certified entomologist.  Several other members of its staff are undergoing training to achieve associate certified entomologist credentials.
