BASF Pest Control Solutions Announces New Positions for Koenig and Arias

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – BASF Pest Control Solutions (PCS) announced Dale Koenig as Key Account Manager for BASF PCS Animal Health business. In his new role, Koenig will manage the U.S. Animal Health business.

“Dale brings a vast wealth of experience to the Animal Health position and more than 19 years experience in pest management technical sales and marketing with 12 of those years of experience at Whitmire Micro-Gen servicing both pest management professionals and large animal confinement facilities,” said Jim Derbyshire, national sales manager, BASF PCS. “We are very excited to have him as part of our team.”

After receiving his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and business from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Koenig started his career as a technical sales representative, selling rodenticides and equipment. After six years, Koenig moved to Whitmire Micro-Gen to start up its Animal Health division. During Koenig’s 12-plus year career at Whitmire Micro-Gen he held various positions including Animal Health Manager, Pest Control Marketing Manager and Group Marketing Manager for the Pest Control division. After a successful career at Whitmire Micro-Gen, Koenig continued working in animal health and most recently as an endocrine specialist.

BASF Pest Control Solutions also announced Peter Arias as sales specialist covering south, north, central and west Texas.

Arias comes to the Pest Control Group by way of the BASF Construction Chemicals Group where he spent six and a half years. He most recently managed Texas and the surrounding states, focusing on Flooring Surfaces.  Arias has more than 12 year’s of sales experience.
