CARY, N.C. – The Pest Management and Public Health business of Bayer – part of the company’s Environmental Science unit - announces three new members to its marketing team: Joaquín Martínez is now serving as product manager, Takisha Truss has assumed the role of customer marketing manager for business assurance, and as of October 1, Joern Kraegeloh will become the head of marketing for pest management & public health.

We are excited about what these new hires will bring to the team, based on their outstanding credentials and experience.”
Kraegeloh will join Pest Management and Public Health (PMPH) as Head of Marketing after eight years in various leadership roles throughout Bayer. Kraegeloh has a wealth of experience in international Business & Marketing Consulting, spanning both product and service offerings. In his most recent role, he designed and implemented global channel inventory reporting and advised on local go-to-market approaches.
Martínez joins the North America PMPH marketing team after four years in various marketing positions at Bayer. Martínez is highly proficient in strategic planning, branding commercial excellence, innovation and market research. As Product Manager, he will manage the product lifecycle of the full PMPH portfolio, including working closely with the Customer Marketing Managers to inform the innovation pipeline.
Truss has over 18 years of experience in international marketing spanning both the chemical and quick-service restaurant industries. She most recently served as marketing manager for the Turf & Ornamentals business of BASF. In her new role as Customer Marketing Manager for Business Assurance, Truss will be responsible for creating and executing the marketing strategy for PMPH‘s commercial segment, including implementing go-to-market strategies and channel incentive programs.

Krageloh, Martinez and Truss join David Braness, who was already on the Bayer PMPH marketing team serving as Customer Marketing Manager for Household Health, and Jennifer Poore, who will continue to serve as Senior Marketing Communications Manager.
