RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. (August 28, 2013) – Environmental Science, a division of Bayer CropScience LP, has made the decision to improve Premise Pre-Construction by adding directions for the control of ants to the product label.
“PMPs have continually relied on Premise Pre-Construction for years for the control of termites,” said Ray Daniels, marketing manager, Bait and Termite for Bayer. “We are excited to now offer PMPs a broader label to assist in the control ants and provide them with the same, effective results they expect from Premise.”
The Premise Pre-Construction label now includes the following application claims and benefits for PMPs:
• Application to voids and galleries in damaged wood, and in spaces between wooden structures as a supplemental treatment for the control of carpenter ants.
• Application to general surfaces, cracks or crevices for the control of ants in houses or other structures.
“We continually strive to develop innovative solutions to help simplify the every-day service offerings of PMPs,” said Byron Reid, senior principle scientist for Bayer. “With these new label directions for Premise Pre-Construction, PMPs now have a solution to turn to when Pyrethroid restrictions limit the places in which they need to treat for ants.”
Available as a suspension concentrate, one gallon of the product contains 2 lbs. of imidacloprid. Premise Pre-Construction is available in a 2.15 gallon container, and provides a broad, flexible label in an effort to save time and labor and reduce retreat rates.
