Bayer, Ace Exterminating Partner Service a Homeless Shelter

CINCINNATI — Ace Exterminating President Rick Steinau and his company recently partnered with Bayer to complete a community service project at a homeless shelter in Middletown, Ohio. Steinau was the 2014 winner of Bayer’s Tales of Transformation initiative for which he received a variety of Bayer products to use for a community service project of his choice.

 

Donating their time for the service, the Ace team used the products to treat for bed bugs and cockroaches at the Hope House Mission, a homeless shelter that provides comprehensive programs and services designed to promote long-term, sustainable life transformation for residents in Southwest Ohio. 

 

“We were thrilled to provide our services to help the great people at Hope House Mission,” Steinau said. “They‘re doing remarkable work, and we feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to give back to this organization in this capacity.”

 

In addition to donating their services for the initial bed bug and cockroach treatments, Ace has committed to providing the shelter with additional treatments for six months free of charge. 

 

“After learning more about what the Hope House Mission does for our community, it just didn’t feel right to walk in there and only conduct one treatment, ” said Steve Leisring, vice president of Ace Exterminating. “We decided that donating our time for an additional six months was the least we could do.”
