CLEVELAND – PCT announced Smart Environmental Pest Control Services, Brooklyn, N.Y., as the winner of our fifth annual Vehicle Wrap Contest, sponsored by Oldham Chemicals Co.
PCT’s judges liked this wrap’s bold, attention-grabbing design, which includes a mantis graphic and a vibrant green color scheme throughout.
“The wrap clearly indicates that we offer residential, commercial, and industrial services, helping potential customers understand our expertise,” said Omar Batista, partner and operator of Smart Environmental Pest Control Services. “The overall design looks modern and professional, which helps build trust with potential clients.”
Batista worked with Greg McKeon and Jesus Villamizar of Made to Last Visual, Queens, N.Y., going back and forth until they came up with a design that hit the mark.
"You really have to see it in person," he said. "When I saw it coming down the street the first time I couldn't believe how bright the colors were and how they grabbed my attention."
The wrap also is functional, clearly displaying phone number, website and social media icons.
Batista said the wrap is helping the company promote its brand in several ways:
- Increased visibility – The wrap acts as a mobile billboard, promoting the company’s brand wherever the vehicle goes.
- Brand recognition – Consistent exposure to the vehicle helps reinforce brand recognition and recall.
- Professional Image – A professional and well-designed wrap enhances our company’s image and makes a strong impression on potential clients.
- Trust and Credibility – Seeing a branded vehicle gives potential customers confidence in Smart Environmental Pest Control’s legitimacy and professionalism.
Batista and business partner Cesar Martinez own and operate Smart Environmental Pest Control Services, which was founded in February 2020 (right before the COVID outbreak). Batista credits the decision to offer cleaning/sanitation for getting the company through those rough first few months. The company provides pest control and cleaning services to the Long Island, Staten Island, Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn and New Jersey, and has grown largely by word of mouth.
PCT will be running a slideshow of the 10 finalists from this year’s contest.
