PARAMUS, N.J. — Stuart Aust, president of Bug Doctor, Paramus, N.J., and Michael Broder, president of BHB Pest Elimination, New York, N.Y., have finalized an agreement for Bug Doctor to purchase BHB’s New Jersey pest control accounts.
Aust and Broder both feel this is an excellent move for their respective companies. Bug Doctor has been looking to expand their business in New Jersey and BHB Pest Elimination wants to concentrate on their extensive New York City area.
BHB Pest Elimination has been in business since 1969 with goal of providing the highest level of integrated pest management. They operate in all five boroughs of New York City, primarily providing service to the restaurant/hospitality and property management markets.
The purchase went into effect on Aug. 1, 2014, and is Bug Doctor’s fourth acquisition.
