SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The California Pest Management Association (CAPMA) announced the launch of two new educational series for 2025: “First Fridays” and “CAPMA’s Hands-On Workshop.”
These initiatives are part of CAPMA’s ongoing commitment to provide timely, relevant and accessible training opportunities for professionals in the structural pest management industry.
First Fridays features monthly in-person and virtual learning sessions held on the first Friday of each month. These bite-sized, high-impact sessions will cover key industry topics, regulatory updates, and best practices, offering members a consistent and convenient way to stay informed and earn continuing education credits.
CAPMA’s Hands-On Workshop is an in-person, practical training event designed to give pest management professionals a chance to sharpen their field skills. This immersive workshop features live demonstrations, expert instruction, and interactive stations covering essential tools, technologies, and treatment techniques.
“These new programs reflect CAPMA’s continued support to pest management professionals through education and engagement,” said Crystelle Turlo, CEO of CAPMA. “We’re excited to bring both virtual and hands-on learning opportunities to our members across California.”
