Certus Acquires Pioneer Pest Management (Wa.)

Certus continues its expansion in the Pacific Northwest with acquisition of Vancouver, Wash.-based firm.


VANCOUVER, Wash. — Certus completed its acquisition of Pioneer Pest Management on Jan 31.

Pioneer was founded in 2001 and provides pest management services to both the Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington markets. Pioneer has been one of the fastest-growing companies in its market over the last five years. Pioneer is QualityPro and GreenPro certified by the National Pest Management Association.

Bruce Head, president and founder of Pioneer, said, “Before deciding to sell my company, I researched all of the potential buyers in my market.
