LOCUST, N.C. — City Wide Exterminating announced that Nicolette Hurley, senior service specialist, successfully completed the Premier Technician program through the North Carolina Pest Management Association (NCPMA).
Hurley, along with three other professionals in the pest management industry, graduated from the two-year program on March 6.
“Nicolette began this journey in 2023 with a commitment to expanding her expertise and honing her skills in pest management,” said Ashley Morrison, president of City Wide Exterminating. “Her dedication and hard work have truly set her apart. We are incredibly proud of the commitment Nicolette showed throughout this program, and her passion for learning and professional growth is evident in everything she does. Nicolette’s attention to detail is unmatched, and this in-depth training equips her with even more technical knowledge to serve her clients every day.”
The Premier Technician program is a specialized course designed to expand and elevate expertise in eight key areas of the pest management industry, including ants, bed bugs, cockroaches, flying insects, occasional invaders/stored product pests, rodents, wood-boring inspection or WDIR accreditation, and wood-destroying organisms.
Through a series of hands-on courses, participants gain a deeper understanding of pest issues, enhance their problem-solving abilities, and learn the latest treatment strategies. To maintain the Premier Technician designation, graduates must continue their education by completing at least one eight-hour course every two years.
