ST. PAUL, Minn. – Ecolab Pest Elimination announced the acquisition of the Pest Management Services Incorporated (PMSI), which serves customers in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, and Pennsylvania.
“We are excited to welcome PMSI employees to our global pest elimination business and to Ecolab – as we accelerate growth in this attractive market,” said Nicolas Granucci, executive vice president and president, Global Pest Elimination.
Founded in 1986, PMSI operates three offices in Virginia and West Virginia, and has more than 70 employees providing pest management services to customers across the mid-Atlantic region.
“We were able to build PMSI into a sizeable regional pest control company,” said Patty Pierleonardi, former principal owner, and chief executive officer of Pest Management Services Incorporated. “When I decided to sell the company, I chose Ecolab because we wanted a ‘business as usual’ environment for our employees, but also the promise of an exciting future. I believe that Ecolab has the expertise and ability to take PMSI to the next level.”
The acquisition was completed on May 6, 2024. PMSI was advised by LR Tullius.
