PHILADELPHIA – Microshare, manufacturer of the EverSmart Rodent remote monitoring technology, announced the addition of Dr. Bobby Corrigan to its board of advisors.
Corrigan is a scientist with a global footprint that specializes in urban rodentology. He serves as an adviser to cities nationally and internationally as well as large food corporations and urban transportation entities.
“Our relationship with Dr. Bobby developed out of some innovative field projects he has conducted with EverSmart Rodent over the past 18 months and we could not be prouder about his decision to join our advisory board,” said Microshare CEO and Co-Founder Ron Rock. “There is no one we’ve encountered in this industry in North America of Europe who does not know and listen to Dr. Bobby’s wisdom on rodent control.”
Corrigan is the author of Rodent Control: A Practical Guide for Pest Management Professionals, a seminal industry textbook. A sought-after speaker and adviser, he is a strong advocate of remote monitoring technology for scientifically based pest management. Furthermore, remote monitoring is a technology breakthrough for analyzing monitoring data with pin-point accuracy, he told a 2024 Rat Summit convened by New York City’s Department of Health.
A native of Brooklyn, he attended the State University of New York-Farmingdale, where he was inspired by Dr. Austin Frishman, an renowned entomologist and pest control pioneer. Upon graduation, Corrigan ran a pest control route for three years, enhancing his understanding of the challenges faced by service technicians. Corrigan holds a master’s degree and Ph.D. in rodent behavior and pest management from Purdue University.
