CHARLOTTE, N.C. – FORSHAW announced that Shane Dooley has been appointed as president.
Dooley served as FORSHAW’s chief operating officer the past two years and director of warehouse and operations for six years prior. He brings a wealth of experience, proven leadership and an innovative mindset to his new role, the distributor said
Tom Forshaw, who has led the company as president, will be stepping back from day-to-day operations to focus on a more strategic and visionary role within the organization.
“It has been a privilege to lead FORSHAW as president and help guide our team and customers to new heights,” Forshaw said. “This is an exciting time for our company, and I am confident that Shane’s leadership will bring fresh energy and insights to our continued growth. I look forward to focusing on the strategic initiatives that will shape our future.”
Dooley joined FORSHAW in 2017 and has been instrumental in transforming the company’s product supply and logistics network. Prior to joining FORSHAW, Dooley had a 17-year tenure at PepsiCo, where he honed his expertise in operations and leadership. His leadership at FORSHAW has extended across purchasing, distribution, freight, warehouse, fleet, and operating expense management, driving operational efficiency and enhancing profitability.
“I am both humbled and excited to step into the role of president and build upon the strong foundation that Tom and the FORSHAW family have established,” Dooley said. “At FORSHAW, our mission, vision, and values are at the heart of everything we do. We have an incredible opportunity to grow and innovate while continuing to prioritize our people, partners, and performance, staying steadfast in our commitment to serving our partners and driving meaningful progress.”
