Funds Being Raised to Support Accurate Fumigation Shooting Victims

Steed updated the Go Fund Me Page on July 17 with the following statement:

Emerson will not recover and his family is making final arrangements. His son will be born in the next few weeks. He will be named after his father. Your kind donations have helped take care of rent and bills are the family is most grateful for all they have received. We are keeping this campaign going to help with a baby shower and funeral costs.

Thank you for your help. It is helping this young mother through some very difficult days.

Editor’s note: Jim Steed, owner of Neighborly Pest Management, Roseville, Ca., has set up a GoFundMe page to support three employees from an Accurate Fumigation crew were wounded from a shooting incident on June 29. Steed wrote the following:

On Thursday June 29th as a fumigation crew for Accurate Fumigation completed their work for the day a shooting occurred that left 3 employees wounded. One employee, Emerson, was shot in the head and is clinging to life as this request is being written. He and his wife are expecting their first child in a month. The other two employees have serious wounds but are likely to recover. These are great people and Accurate has great ownership and doing everything they can at the moment. Please consider donating today to help these families with the difficult times that will follow this terrible tragedy. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for the amazing outpouring of help over the last two days. I have increased the goal in hopes that we can raise a little more for these good people. Thank you so much for the help you are giving.
