LA GRANGE, Ill. — On April 9, Grizz Pest Management partnered with fourteensixteen restaurant in La Grange, Ill., for a guest bartending event where all cash tips and donations were given to Bark from the Heart Rescue, a local dog rescue organization.
With signature cocktails like the Pest Punch and Bear Paw, and a themed flatbread dubbed the Honeycomb, the event raised close to $1,000 that evening.
Grizz Pest Management owners Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Grizzly Bear, passed away suddenly from cancer in early 2017 after only two years of being adopted. Grizz Pest Management is the family's way of keeping his memory alive.
Grizz Pest owner Andrew Novinger, and sales development director/ technician, John Brucker, stepped behind the bar for the night, serving drinks and stories in support of second chances for rescue animals.
Novinger also recently adopted a rescue pup from Bark from the Heart Rescue.
