LA GRANGE, Ill. — Grizz Pest Management, a pest control company with local roots serving the Chicagoland area, announced a new and unprecedented partnership with Brookfield Zoo Chicago. As part of this initiative, Grizz Pest Management will donate a portion of its revenue to Brookfield Zoo Chicago with every service booked.

Andrew Novinger, owner of Grizz Pest Management, trained entomologist and former Brookfield Zoo Chicago animal keeper, has a deep-rooted personal connection to Brookfield Zoo Chicago. Before founding his pest management company in 2017, Novinger spent five years as an animal care specialist at the zoo, where he witnessed the profound impact that conservation and education can have on both animals and people. His experiences at the zoo have fueled his passion for wildlife preservation and informed his commitment to giving back to the community.

Novinger said, "Brookfield Zoo has always been close to my heart. This is our way of giving back to an institution that does so much for wildlife conservation. We're excited to involve our customers in this effort and to contribute to the future of the Zoo now, and for years to come."

In 2025, the donated funds from Grizz Pest Management will directly support the creation and maintenance of the Zoo’s upcoming exhibit, Tropical Forests, a state-of-the-art facility featuring indoor and outdoor habitats for gorillas, orangutans, and various species of monkeys.

This new facility, opening in Summer 2025, offers a dynamic environment for its animal residents and educational opportunities for visitors. In addition, Tropical Forests represents a significant milestone in the Zoo’s ambitious Next Century Plan aimed at enhancing its mission of wildlife conservation and education.
