Chelle Hartzer Joining Rollins Technical Services

ATLANTA — Rollins Inc. announced that Michelle (Chelle) Hartzer will be joining its technical services team. Hartzer comes to Rollins from the Industrial Fumigant Company (IFC). She joined IFC in 2011 and served as a staff entomologist and product manager where she provided overall technical support to the field.

Hartzer earned her B.A. from the University of Delaware and M.S. from Kansas State University, both degrees in entomology. Prior to joining IFC, she worked at the USDA Center for Grain and Animal Health Research in Manhattan, Kan., and subsequently at Kansas State University.  Her research included pest management of stored product pests, development of IPM programs for food and feed processing facilities, grain protectants and modified atmospheres.  She is a board certified entomologist (BCE) and was recently elected to serve as the Entomological Society of America’s Certification Board Director-Elect.

Hartzer's transfer to Atlanta could not have happened without the support and assistance of Dan Ponton, executive vice president and general manager of IFC and Chris Mueller, IFC’s vice president of marketing and business manager. As Ponton said, “Chelle will be missed here at IFC. However, we are also excited for her as she begins her new role at Rollins and we look forward to working with her in her new capacity. Chris Mueller and I appreciate everything Chelle has contributed to IFC, particularly her efforts in advancing our training programs for IFC team members and our clients.”

Chelle and her husband, Kris, will relocate from Kansas to Atlanta.
