CHICAGO– Brian Hirsch has been named director of sales in the newly created industrial division at Protect-A-Bed. In his new position, Hirsch will lead the company’s sales and training team in the industrial division, which encompasses Protect-A-Bed’s prominent pest control channel as well as emerging business opportunities.
“Protect-A-Bed has quickly become a sales leader and educational partner in the pest control industry, in part because of Brian,” said Protect-A-Bed CEO James Bell. “We expect that, in his new role within our newly-created industrial division, he will continue his superb leadership and widely educate our staff and our valued customers.”
Hirsch and Protect-A-Bed’s industrial division team work closely with state and trade associations around the country to help them educate them and their customers on the benefits of creating a healthy sleep zone and protecting their bedding investment. “Sleep barriers like dust mites – which are a leading cause of asthma and allergies – and the recent bed bug infestations are causing customers to be more proactive about protecting their mattress and pillows against these invaders,” Hirsch said. “We’re here to help our industrial partners educate their customers on how to properly protect their investment with Protect-A-Bed products.”
Protect-A-Bed created the industrial division as a response to the growing bed bug infestations reaching into everyday life. “Bed bugs have become so pervasive that they have spread far beyond the home; they have infested all walks of life and have affected many different industries now.” says Hirsch. The role of Hirsch and the new industrial division will be to bring education and solutions to these newly affected groups and industries. Hirsch is leading the effort to identify and pursue the industries that are most in need of proactive solutions.
One of the key focuses for Protect-A-Bed – and the industrial division – is to provide complete customer satisfaction. “Our team of dynamic sales associates and trainers work day-in and day-out with our clients to make sure their sales forces are familiar with our products’ features and benefits, as well as the most effective approach and techniques to the end user,” Bell says.
Hirsch has worked for Protect-A-Bed since 2007 and has been involved in educating company employees and pest control partners on effectively controlling bed bugs with Protect-A-Bed products.
