INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - The Indiana Pest Management Association held a pest control business workshop on Dec. 15 with Seth Garber, Pest Daily president, and Pete Schopen, owner of Pest Solution, speaking on the complexities in growing a pest control business.

Business owners from Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana attended the conference. Discussions were held on sales, upselling, cross-selling, standard operating procedures, S.W.O.T. analysis and improving Net Promoter Scores.

Doug Foster, owner of Burt’s Pest Control, directed the conference. Adam Mueller, president of Summit City Pest Control, said, “Doug Foster put together a great workshop and lots of good info was given [at the workshop].”

Schopen will be speaking at the New Mexico Pest Management Conference on Jan. 3, and the Wisconsin Pest Control Association’s Midwest PestCon, Feb. 7 and 8.
