CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Aruza Pest Control announced the sudden passing of its CEO Andrew Beck, on Aug. 15. Beck, a visionary leader and dedicated professional, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of innovation, integrity and a relentless commitment to excellence, the company said.
Beck held various branch leadership roles for Terminix from 2015 to 2018. He then worked for Rentokil North America as the director of residential sales in the Southeast market from 2018 to 2020. Beck worked for Anticimex as director of operational best practices from 2020 to 2201. He started working for Aruza Pest Control in 2021 until his passing.
“We are heartbroken by the loss of our friend and leader, Andrew Beck,” said Joshua Langdon, chief operating officer, Aruza. “Andrew was not just a CEO; He was the soul of Aruza Pest Control. His vision and leadership have left an indelible mark on all of us, and we are committed to continuing the work he was so passionate about.”
In light of this tragedy, Langdon will serve as interim chief executive officer in addition to his responsibilities as chief operating officer. The board of directors will be evaluating the company’s long-term leadership structure over the coming months.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 31 at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of Latter Day Saints, 2549 North 32nd St. Mesa, Ariz. with viewing starting at noon.
A date for an additional Celebration of Life service being planned for his colleagues and friends in North and South Carolina was not available at time of release.
