NASHVILLE, Ind. - Ben Hicks, longtime owner of All Seasonal Pest Control, Nashville, Ind., passed away on April 20 following a battle with head and neck cancer.
As noted in his obituary in the Brown County Democrat, Hicks worked in the pest control industry for more than 46 years, serving Brown County and surrounding areas, including the last 17 as owner and operator of All Seasonal Pest Control. He previously spent 22 years as proprietor of Michigan City Pest Control.
Friend and industry colleague Doug Foster, president of Burt's Termite and Pest Control, Columbus, Ind., told PCT Hicks specialized in snake removal and was involved with the original field testing of Nature's Defense Animal Repellent. "Ben was a good friend over the years and willing to help any PMP's that would reach out to him," said Foster.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Johnson Memorial Cancer Care Center Attn: Kelsey Kasting at JMH Foundation-1125 W Jefferson St, Franklin IN, 46131.
