Innovative Pest Management Adds Entomologist Carnohan

Dr. Lucas Carnohan, a recent University of Florida graduate, is the newest member of the company’s leadership team.

BROOKEVILLE, Md. — Innovative Pest Management, Brookeville, Md., announced it has added entomologist Dr. Lucas Carnohan to its staff.

Carnohan joins the IPM leadership team following the recent completion of his doctorate at the University of Florida. During his graduate studies, Carnohan was a research assistant at the University of Florida in Dr. Nan-Yao Su’s lab. He accumulated tremendous experience through researching subterranean termite behavior, identification, colony rearing and maintenance, and new methods for termite baiting technology using insect growth regulators. Carnohan has routinely presented at regional and national conferences and taught entomological courses.

Carnohan will work alongside co-founder and CEO Dr. Richard Kramer to strengthen the company’s technical approach, and provide additional training (both in-house as well as field-training) to our team of service technicians. Carnohan also will be developing relationships with residential, commercial and government clients and providing on-site client support whenever needed.

Kramer commented, “As we have grown from 4 to nearly 50 talented team members during the past 13 years, we have never lost sight of our commitment to you, our customers, as well as our focus on quality.  As such, we are excited for Dr. Carnohan to contribute significantly to our quality of service. This is just one of the many ways that we strive to uphold the core value of our company: exceptional service for our entire customer base.”
