WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Indiana Pest Management Association (IPMA) announced that Doug Foster, owner of Burt's Pest Control in Columbus, Ind., has been selected as the recipient of the prestigious 2025 Hall of Fame Award.

Foster, a long-time leader in the pest management industry, has earned this distinguished honor in recognition of his years of dedicated service, expertise and contributions to the profession. Foster earned his degree in urban entomology from Purdue University in 1979, and has since built a career that spans decades of hands-on pest management experience. His work with Burt’s Pest Control has solidified his reputation as a respected expert in the field, the association said.

Foster's leadership extends beyond his professional work, having served as president of IPMA during the 2018-2019 fiscal year. He continues to contribute to the association's success, currently serving as the chair of the Education Committee. His unwavering commitment to educating and advancing the pest management industry is a testament to his passion for the profession, the association said.

“Doug’s contributions to the Indiana Pest Management Association and the pest control industry as a whole have been immeasurable,” said Carrie Campbell, Current President of IPMA. “His leadership, dedication to education, and tireless work in advancing pest management practices have made a lasting impact, and we are honored to recognize him with this well-deserved award.”
