MONTICELLO, Ind. – The Indiana Pest Management Association (IPMA) hosted its annual summer meeting July 21-22, at the Best Western-Brandywine in Monticello, Ind.
During the IPMA business meeting, Hatfield Pest Control owner Carrie Campbell was voted as the new IPMA President and Shane Westerman of Frontline Pest Management was appointed to the board of directors.
The weekend meeting featured training sessions, a hospitality hour and dinner and a live and silent auction that raised $10,500 for student scholarship funds. It also gave attendees the opportunity to enjoy the Indiana Beach Amusement Park & Resort
The meeting’s presenters included:
- Dr. Ameya Gondhalekar, associate professor at Purdue University.
- Dr. Fred Whitford, director of Purdue Pesticide Programs.
- Joe Becovitz, Office of Indiana State Chemist (OISC) Pesticide Program Specialist.
- Pete Schopen, consultant.
