SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — Central Life Sciences announced the addition of Dan Killingsworth as technical services specialist, Vector/PCO. Killingsworth joins the Central Life Sciences team with extensive expertise in both public health and pest control management, bringing decades of experience to support the organization’s professional pest control and vector solutions.

“Dan’s unique background in both pest biology and control strategies makes him an exceptional fit for our technical services team,” said Tony Schultz, senior director of the Zoëcon Professional Products division of Central Life Sciences. “His knowledge and experience will further enhance the expertise and guidance we offer to our customers, helping them achieve better results in managing challenging pests.”

Growing up in Pensacola, Fla., Killingsworth's passion for pest control began at an early age in his family’s business, Environmental Security Pest & Lawn. With over 20 years of experience, Killingsworth  has held several leadership roles, including director of operations for his family business, and has developed a targeted approach to pest control management.

Killingsworth’s public health background is equally as extensive. Having served as a vector surveillance and mosquito identification technician for his local mosquito control district, Killingsworth developed a fascination with mosquito behavior and identification, which led him to pursue continuous education in mosquito biology. He is currently the Chair of the Endangered Species Act Subcommittee for the American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA), where he advocates for environmental responsibility and transparency.

In his new role with Central Life Sciences, Killingsworth will provide technical support and guidance to both public health and pest control professionals. His ability to connect with various stakeholders, including mosquito control districts and private pest control companies, will help ensure Central Life Sciences continues to lead the industry in innovation and customer service.
