COLUMBUS, Ga. — Knox Pest Control announced three internal promotions to the company’s operations team: Paul Crenshaw, Michael Ott and Phillip Owen to regional directors.
Crenshaw joined Knox Pest Control in 2006 as a pest technician in Montgomery, Ala. After a year and a half, he was promoted to district manager of the Pensacola, Fla. office for the next 15 years.
Crenshaw is a second-generation employee of Knox, preceded by his father, Paul Crenshaw Sr. He also has two siblings currently employed at Knox Pest Control, Jenny Wilson in the Dothan branch and Madison Flowers in corporate.
He will oversee offices servicing the Gulf region in Florida and Alabama. Crenshaw is a veteran of two tours in Iraq. He has been married for 6 years with three children.
Ott started at Knox in 2016 as a termite renewals and pest technician and a sales representative before advancing to the position of district manager for the Lagrange, Ga., office in 2019.
He is a certified operator in Georgia, a commercial applicator in Alabama and a licensed wildlife representative with Georgia Department of Natural Resources. He will oversee the central Georgia region.
Ott immediately joined the U.S. Army as a Signal Systems Support Specialist after high school. He is a 7 year combat veteran who served his entire Army career at the 10th Mountain division in FT Drum, N.Y. and Superfob, Afghanistan.
During his time in the military, he acquired two Army Achievement Medals, one Army Commendation Medal, Gold Combat Spurs, and an Army Combat Action Badge. Michael has been married to his wife for 12 years and they have two children together.
Owen joined the Knox team in January of 2022 bringing 24 years in the pest control industry with Peachtree Pest Control.
He will oversee the eastern region of Georgia and Florida. He is a regional director along with opening an office in the Brunswick, Ga. area serving the Golden Isles.
Owen is a veteran of seven years with the U.S. Navy. Happily married for 27 years to his wife Sandy, and has three children, and five grandchildren.
