
BATON ROUGE, La. — Laura Simpson, president of Baton Rouge, La.-based Dugas Pest Control, has been named president of LIPCA and Louisiana Pest Control Insurance, a Louisiana-based pest and lawn control insurance group.
Simpson has been active in the pest control industry for more than 35 years, serving as president of both the Louisiana Pest Management Association and the National Pest Management Association. Simpson has been the president and primary license holder licensee of Dugas Pest Control since 1996, succeeding her father, Doug MacPherson, who purchased the company in 1973.
