Lee Tubbs, founder of Enviroguard Pest Solutions, was named to the Georgia Pest Control Association Hall of Fame in 2025. The Tubbs family has deep roots in the pest control industry, including his 45 years of dedication. Tubbs focused his time, passion and knowledge into supporting the pest and termite industry, expanding eco-friendly solutions, and keeping customers first, the company said.
Tubbs began his pest control journey in high school, following in his father’s footsteps. He received his bachelor’s degree in pest management from the University of Memphis. Tubbs served as a pest control inspector for the Tennessee Department of Agriculture and the General Manager of Atomic Pest before spending years in Europe and the United Kingdom studying pest control methods.
He founded Enviroguard Pest Solutions in 1997, growing it for more than 25 years. The company earned and held the QualityPro distinction. Tubbs chose to merge with Northwest Exterminating in 2024 so Enviroguard could continue to grow and serve customers well as he looked to retirement, the company said.
Tubbs is a long-standing member of the Georgia Pest Control Association and other industry associations, serving in various positions throughout his tenure.
“Lee’s impact on our industry will continue to be seen for decades,” said Scott Eubanks, vice president of industry relations for Northwest Exterminating. “Lee remained diligent on innovation, effective training, quality, green products, and extraordinary service. He inspires us all to bring our best!”
