PARSONS, Kan. — Lynn Brinkman, wife of Joseph "Doug" Brinkman of McKinzie Pest Control, Parsons, Kan., passed away on Sept. 30.
Brinkman was born on August 15, 1958 at Emporia, Kansas to Lowell Dean and Ida Jo (Haag) Swisher. She grew up at Reading and attended Reading schools graduating from Reading High School in 1976. She graduated from the Flint Hills Technical College in Emporia with a degree in nursing.
She and Joseph Douglas "Doug" Brinkman were married on Aug. 30, 1980 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Olpe.
