ORLANDO, Fla. – Ernst & Young has named the head of Massey Services as its Entrepreneur of the Year Award winner in the Services category.
Harvey L. Massey, chairman and CEO of the family-owned Massey Services, was presented with the award at a special gala on June 14 at the Hilton Orlando. The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
“It is truly an honor and an incredible compliment to the management staff and team members of our company to be recognized for this award,” Massey said. “I accept this award on their behalf. The 27 consecutive years of profitable growth and success of our company have required a great deal of hard work, commitment and dedication from our team members and we couldn’t be more proud of them.”
Massey Services and its subsidiary organizations employ over 1,300 people, and provide residential and commercial pest prevention, termite protection and landscape and irrigation services throughout Florida, Georgia and Louisiana.
Past Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award winners include Jeff Bezos, chairman and CEO of Amazon.com; Michael Dell, chairman and CEO of Dell; and other well-known executives.
