LANSING, Mich. - The state Supreme Court has ruled for a northern Michigan couple who sold a house without reporting any history of termite infestation in their disclosure statement.
The couple who bought the home in Leland sued, saying termites made the house structurally unsound. A Leelanau County jury awarded the buyers $86,000 in 2006.
But the state appeals court reversed last year and ruled for the sellers.
