Brunswick, Maine — Modern Pest Services, an Anticimex company, announced its newest partner in New England with the acquisition of A&D Professional Pest Elimination, Pawtucket, R.I.
A&D is a family owned and operated company founded in 1990 by Anthony Tudino that provides commercial, residential and industrial pest control throughout Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts. Joining Modern from A&D are 13 full-time team members.
Tudino said, “We’ve come a long way from our humble beginning. Back when A&D was first created, I remember driving to commercial business parks in my Datsun dressed in casual attire to hand out business cards. If a pest control treatment came about, I would go back to the Datsun and put on my crawl suit and perform the treatment. My commitment from day one was to give customers the absolute best services the industry has seen. That commitment helped us grow tremendously. I’m 100 percent confident this tradition will continue as we join Modern.”
Dennis Dube, president of Modern, said, “This is an exciting day for the team at Modern. I’ve known Tony and his team for several years. Modern has always admired A&D. Their commitment to their clients, their culture and being a well-known local pest control provider made for a perfect fit to partner with Modern. This latest addition will only further our mission to be the most highly recommended pest control company in New England. We are also pleased to announce our ninth branch location in New England with the creation of our new Providence branch.”
This is Modern’s 10th acquisition in New England since joining Anticimex in 2017.
Paul Giannamore and Franco Villanueva-Meyer of The Potomac Company represented and acted as exclusive financial advisors to A&D in this transaction.
