Mosquito Joe’s Powell a Neighborly Franchise of the Year Award Winner

 

During the event, top-performing franchise owners across Neighborly were recognized with a number of awards, including Franchise of the Year, presented by each brand president to a franchise owner who exhibited exceptional growth, leadership, customer service and sales.

 

Trey Powell, who owns Mosquito Joe locations in Lake Murray, S.C., and Augusta, Ga., was recognized by parent company Neighborly as Franchise of the Year. From 2015 to 2022, Powell serviced more than 2,500 customers across two states with very strong publicly facing reviews. Many Mosquito Joe franchise owners have benefited directly or tangentially from Powell’s work, including Powell having created a series of training videos designed to help new owners on Tortal, and collaborating with Augusta, Ga.’s “Get Neighborly” hour radio show.

 

Outside of the office he has given back to the community by having the company involved in programs such as United to Beat Malaria and Local SC Make A Wish. As stated in his letter of recommendation for this award, “Whether it’s organizing the weekly employee cookout, coordinating holiday celebrations, or putting together a fundraiser, what I admire about Trey is the way he empowers employees to take charge of these events. The hundreds of employees that Trey has mentored and coached over the years of his franchise career attest to his leadership acumen.”
