Deni Naumann Women in Pest Management Empowerment Grant Announced

The grant, funded by ServiceMaster and administered by NPMA’s Professional Women in Pest Management (PWIPM) council, is a tribute to Naumann’s pest control industry legacy.

MEMPHIS, Tenn., and FAIRFAX, Va. – ServiceMaster and the National Pest Management Association announced the Deni Naumann Empowerment Grant, funded by ServiceMaster. The grant will be administered by NPMA’s Professional Women in Pest Management (PWIPM) council.

The announcement was made on Oct. 15, on the USS Midway during a retirement celebration for Deni Naumann, past president of Copesan Services and (most recently) strategic advisor/executive consultant, ServiceMaster.

More than 200 of Naumann’s industry friends and colleagues attended the event, which celebrated Naumann’s accomplishments during her 13 years in the industry, and acknowledged her commitment to service excellence and immense contributions to pest management.

Nik Varty, CEO, ServiceMaster, announced the grant, which will begin in 2020 and provides the opportunity for a female in any industry business role to compete for an all-expenses paid trip to attend PestWorld for educational purposes plus an award of $1,000 towards her professional goal. The reception-style event provided suppliers, pest management providers, educators and clients an opportunity to reconnect, reminisce and extend their best wishes to Naumann as she moves on to the next chapter in her career, retirement.
