Lee Barrett Promoted to Vice President of Business Development at Nisus Corporation

ROCKFORD, Tenn. — Nisus Corporation has announced the promotion of Lee Barrett to vice president of Business Development.

With the launch of the Bora-Care Commercial product, Barrett will be responsible for builder sales with a focus on developing the commercial pretreat market. Barrett will work with architects and specifiers during the design phase, and directly with general contractors during construction. He will also work closely with partner pest control companies to track construction projects using Nisus’ REED Data Service and with the territory sales force to secure Bora-Care Commercial treatments and Termistop installations for those projects.
 
“It’s been amazing talking to the architects; we are getting very positive feedback on both Bora-Care Commercial and Termistop,” says Barrett. “Up until now, there has not been an option to earn green points with a pretreatment on commercial structures.” Architects are very focused on gaining green points and sustainability. “These products are a perfect fit for today’s green construction,” continues Barrett, “and when I talk to the general contractors in the field, they love the fact that they can get to the slab pour quicker since it is a critical swing point of the project.”
 
Barrett will also have responsibility for developing new international markets. Nisus currently sells products in the U.S., Canada, Thailand, Israel and Japan.
